Eats: Looking for Pinzino’s? Head to the Hi-Ho

Hi-Ho Bar and Grill

1817 Frederick Ave, 233-7363

Has anyone wondered what happened to Chad Pinzino of Pinzino’s Smokehouse? Well, I found him at one of my favorite watering holes, the Hi-Ho.

I stopped by to have lunch and had to try out his Outlaw sandwich. The Outlaw has smoked pulled pork, brisket and polish sausage. I would have to say the polish sausage with the pork and brisket along with Pinzino’s homemade BBQ hot sauce makes this a true Outlaw. And topping it off with homemade french fries makes this a classic sandwich. On this trip, my wife tried the Rio Bravo sandwich. The Rio Bravo comes with your choice of turkey, smoked pulled pork or brisket topped with Cajun mayo, peppers, onions and pepper jack cheese. She had hers with turkey. My wife loved how the peppers and onions were tender and the Cajun mayo topped off the turkey. Pinzino’s is a great addition to the Hi-Ho’s original menu, which includes wraps, pizzas, salads and great hamburgers. So next time you stop by, you will see me in there sampling the menu.
