Hip-hop superstar Kanye West may have started as a likeable new artist who helped bring hip-hop back to its roots with what have now become his signature soul samples. But now, he has become a love-him-or-hate-him kind of performer.

He'll win over critics and fans with boundary-breaking hip-hop records one minute and turn into full-fledged ego-diva the next. This was especially exhibited at Bonnaroo when he decided to start his show almost three hours late so he wouldn't have to compete with other artists for a crowd.

This especially made me think twice about Mr. West, but man, is he making some interesting music. His new album is rumored to come out on Dec. 16 and you can hear his new single "Love Lockdown" on his blog at this link:
