Dr. Joe Powell, a Maryville veterinarian who specializes in equine medicine, will discuss the care of horses in a free program at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at the Belt Branch, 1904 N. Belt Hwy., of Rolling Hills Consolidated Library. Powell will talk about worming, vaccinations and dental care for horses. Powell works with horses throughout northwest Missouri.
